In-Home Service Dog Training

Our service dog training program is designed to help dogs develop the skills needed to support individuals with physical, psychiatric, or neurological disabilities. We train mobility assistance dogs, psychiatric service dogs, and task-trained companions all through in-home and real-world training.

By avoiding expensive boarding facilities and working directly in your dog’s everyday environment, we’re able to cut the cost nearly in half while still delivering the same professional results.

Dog Owner

"Our in-home service dog training program provides an affordable and realistic option for individuals in need of a well-trained service animal. By training in your home and in public settings, we eliminate the need for expensive boarding facilities while still delivering high-level results.

We begin working with your dog as a young puppy, which allows us to shape behavior early and prevent bad habits. Many people wait until their dog is one or two years old, which can delay progress and create unnecessary challenges. After completing our puppy program, we take a short break with periodic check-ins to keep everything on track.

The heart of the program is a four-week daily training phase, with the first two weeks focused on obedience and public manners. The final two weeks are dedicated to teaching task-specific behaviors that meet your individual needs. We finish the program with the AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen test and help guide you through ADA certification. Not every dog is a good fit for service work, which is why we carefully evaluate each dog during the consultation. A dog may be friendly and sweet, but that doesn’t always mean they’re ready for the responsibility of becoming a service dog."

WHY OUR PROGRAM WORKS

Home Environment Advantage

When we conduct training sessions in your home, the lessons are imprinted in the very environment where your dog lives and interacts. This ensures that the training is not only effective but also consistent. Your dog learns behaviors and boundaries within the context of your home, setting the standard for how they should behave in that familiar environment.

Real-World Behavior Success

We don’t train dogs just to sit in a classroom—we train them to succeed in real-life situations. Whether it's walking calmly through a crowded park or staying focused during a busy family gathering, our programs are designed to build reliable behavior in the environments that matter most. Confidence, consistency, and clear communication are the keys to long-term success.

Positive Socialization

To give your dog a well-rounded learning experience, we also include safe and structured socialization. Your dog will interact with our well-behaved dogs to build confidence and develop healthy social skills through positive, real-world experiences. We also focus on teaching your dog how to greet people calmly and respectfully. No more jumping or rushing up to strangers instead, your dog will learn to stay controlled, wait for permission, and approach people with good manners.

Consistency is Key

Our programs builds reliable obedience and real-life manners through consistent, focused work five days a week, right in your home. By scheduling multiple lessons up front, we create momentum and structure that one-off sessions simply can't match. Instead of showing up without a plan, we follow a clear progression that builds on each lesson. This approach delivers faster, more lasting results and gives you the kind of consistency that scattered lessons just can’t offer.

Program Cost And How This Program Works

Our service dog training program is structured in phases to support your dog through each stage of its development. We begin with a puppy program focused on obedience, socialization, and house manners. This foundational phase costs $450. After that, we take a two-month break to let your puppy mature before beginning the next phase.

The second phase is a three-week daily training program, focused on advanced obedience, public access, and task introduction. This phase is billed as three payments of $450, one per week. After completing this stage, we take an additional one-month break to give your dog time to grow and settle into its new skills.

The final phase is a two-week daily training program where we fine-tune public behavior and polish all task work. This gradual, phased approach allows us to work with your dog as it passes through the critical developmental stages of its first year — resulting in a more reliable, confident, and capable service dog.
